A whole house surge protector became required in the 2020 National Electric Code (NEC). This is a device designed to absorb higher voltage than that which comes into our homes under normal conditions and it protects your home electronics.
Modern appliances operate digitally and need as much protection as we can give them. However, the location that these appliances are installed, does not make it feasible to install a plug-in strip style surge protector.
If your home does not have a whole house surge protector, then call us.
